The Co-Word Mapping option allows easy navigation whitin Melville's novel.

Each box is marked by a key-word, the most frequent among a small subset of other words that occur with it in the same sentences (co-occurrences).

For example, clicking on the box with the "captain" label, we find that - in this case - the association is made up of the seven words shown in the window on the left.

The Associations function allows detailed analysis of the attributes of individual characters. For each one it is possible to obtain a graph showing the words with which they are most closely associated in the novel.
