Sequences of Themes

This function is enabled only after 5 thematic clusters have been obtained using the Thematic Analysis of Elementary Contexts or Modeling of Emerging Themes functions and it is provided only when the analysed documents are not short texts that T-LAB treats like elementary contexts.

The specificity of this function is that the items in the sequences analysed consist of the labels assigned to elementary contexts, i.e. the labels assigned to thematic clusters.

Since the sequence of elementary contexts (sentences or paragraphs) characterises the entire "chain" (predecessors and successors) of the corpus, this function performs a specific form of Discourse Analysis.
